Projects started in the current Presidency :
SRI LANKA DRUG INDEX 2020 – SLDI 2020
This project was started in early January 2019 and saw the completion in 2020 July. This is the electronic version of the Sri Lanka Drug Index 2010 which was again a project initiated by IMPA under the supervision of Prof Rohini Fernandopulle and Ms Chinta Abeywardane. SLDI2020 too was under the supervision of Prof Rohini Fernandopulle and Ms Chintha Abeywardane. IMPA is also very grateful for the NMRA and Prof Asita De Silva Chairmen and Dr Kamal Jayasinghe CEO of NMRA for the grant to mek SLDI2020 a reality.
SRI LANKA OUTPATIENT FORMULARY – SLOPF – Project
This is an attempt to create a formulary for outpatient clinical practice in Sri Lanka. While there had been some activity in this arena no viable undertaking had ever been taken so far. IMPA plans to fill this glaring void in whatever the way it deems reasonable and feasible. The same SLDI Subcommittee will oversee this project. The chances are that an electronic version will be available by late 2021. A printed version is yet a dream to be realized.
MORBIDITY ANALYSIS AND REPORT SYSTEM – MAARS Project
Morbidity Analysis And Report System is yet another project which is under preparatory stages. Details will be updated here. Project proposals have been submitted to several funding agencies. Awaiting a response in near future.
